While the Delhi Premier League (DPL) is in the middle of its second season, just on the other side of the border, another mega league is about to start. The Uttar Pradesh T20 League, commonly known as the UPT20 League, is ready to enthral fans as the third season will roll on from Sunday, August 17. The six-team tournament is designed to nurture upcoming talent in a state that has given a lot to Indian cricket. With Suresh Raina being the league ambassador, the buzz around the UPT20 League is tremendous.

The tournament is set to kick off on August 17 and will run until September 6, featuring a thrilling round-robin and knockout format. The six participating teams will clash with each other twice in the league stage, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals.

The winners of these matches will then compete in the grand finale, which will be held at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. With each team comprising 18 players, including experienced domestic players and rising stars, the competition promises to be intense.
