Stuart Broad Fató a los jugadores de bolos indios por no poder contener límites en la primera sesión el día 3 de Ind vs Eng 4th Check Check
Former England cricketer Stuart Broad came to the defence of Shubman Gill after India had a frustrating 1st session on Day 3 of IND vs ENG 4th Test. India went wicketless in the 1st session of play, with both Pope and Root stitching together a 135-run partnership. At Lunch, England reached 332/2, trailing India by just 26 runs.
Broad points out mistake made by bowlers on Day 3
Speaking on JioHotstar during the lunch break, Broad said that he won’t blame Gill for India’s woes in the 1st session, comparing the new captain to Pat Cummins from 2023 when he had to deal with England hitting boundaries all around the park. The ex-England cricketer said that the aggressive brand of play displayed by England left the Indian bowlers unsettled from both ends.
Broad further targeted the Indian bowlers for attempting to trap the batters for a LBW when the surface was as such that ball would stay low. India failed to stop the flow of singles and boundaries in the 1st session on Day 3 at the Old Trafford.
England resumed their innings at 225/2, with Shardul Thakur starting off with the new ball. He was replaced from the end in the very next over by Bumrah. While the veteran, along with Siraj, managed to keep their lines tight and even created some half-chances, they did not manage to get any wickets. The duo have now conceded 54 and 80 runs respectively with 0 wickets.
Kamboj was also tormented by the duo of Pope and Root. The debutant has already conceded 72 runs. Meanwhile, after turning to Jadeja initially in terms of spin, Gill decided to bring on Washington Sundar after 68 overs, nearly towards Lunch on Day 3 – a move that puzzled many experts.
