Dhoni on IPL 2026 auction

MS Dhoni, who was the interim captain in IPL 2025, has admitted that CSK had some batting woes. But since Ruturaj Gaikwad will be coming back now, he doesn’t think that will be a concern anymore. Dhoni admitted that there are a few holes in the team and they’ll try to plug those at the IPL 2026 auction.

Siraj’s costly boundary blunder

Mohammed Siraj has been India’s best bowler in the Oval Test. Yet, he might be the biggest culprit if India loses the series 1-3. That’s because Siraj gave Harry Brook a lifeline when he was on 19 and the batter went on to score 111. England now needs 35 runs and has 4 wickets in hand. Siraj will hope India wins.

AB de Villiers better than IPL batters?

Dale Steyn thinks that AB de Villiers is still better than at least 50% of batters who currently play in the IPL. The fast bowler stated so after the retired superstar scored 120 off 60 against Pakistan in the WCL 2025 Final. 41-year-old ABD had retired from all forms of cricket in 2021. Gavaskar hails Gill over himself

Even though Shubman Gill wasn’t able to go past Sunil Gavaskar’s record, the Indian legend feels that Gill has outdone him. Gavaskar stated that his scoring spree came in his debut series, and nobody would have cared had he failed. But Gill has the pressure of being a first-time Test captain. Talk about grace.

What did Rohit Sharma say to Jaiswal?

Yashasvi Jaiswal was batting at 85 when lunch was called on Day 3. He still needed 15 runs to score his second century of the tour. Before going back for the second session, Jaiswal met with Rohit Sharma. Not only did the opener score his hundred, but he also added 18 more runs after that. So, what did Rohit say to Jaiswal? The message was simple: “khelte rehna” (just keep on playing).
