New Zealand smothered Zimbabwe in ZIM vs NZ 2nd Test to register their biggest-ever Test victory (in terms of runs) on Saturday. Zakary Foulkes’ five-wicket haul helped the visitors bowl out the hosts for just 117 runs, helping them register a mammoth innings and 359 run-win againtst the hapless hosts. By the virtue of their gigantic win, the Kiwis have now whitewashed Zimbabwe 2-0.

Batting first in the contest, Zimbabwe were bowled out for just 125 runs in their 1st innings. A 44-run knock from Brendan Taylor, who returned after his ban period ended, was the only highlight from the hosts’ innings. The rest of the batting line-up collapsed like a pack of cards, with Matt Henry picking up a five-wicket haul and Foulkes finishing with four wickets to his name.
In response, New Zealand posted a mammoth 601-run total before declaring their innings. Devon Conway (153), Henry Nicholls (150*) and Rachin Ravindra (165*) slammed 150s each, creating yet another record, to guide the Kiwis to a mammoth 600+ run total before declaring their innings with a lead of 476 runs.
In response, Zimbabwe were bowled out for just 117 runs in their 2nd innings, their fourth lowest total in the history of Test cricket. Devon Conway was named the Player of the Match.
